Nestled in the Mongaup Valley in the New York Catskills are the beautiful waters of nine-mile Swinging Bridge Lake, the home of Swinging Bridge Labradors. We are less than 10 miles from Yasgur’s Farm, the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival. Today, the grounds of Yasgurs Farm operates as Bethel Woods Center of the Arts.
Our love for Labradors began in the 90's with Mariann's late sister Janice's pet yellow labrador Misty. Throughout Janice's illness Misty never left her side. Our love for the breed deepened and began a forever and grateful journey with our "family", Trish and Walt Hadsell and our nieces and nephews at Four Seasons Labradors. We credit them for our beginning.
We breed quality Labradors who are part of our family. Our dogs are bred to conform to the Labrador standards for structure and temperament as well as physically and genetically health tested. Our dogs compete in various performance events as well as conformation and as therapy dogs. Mariann is a certified Judge with North America Diving Dogs. Thank you for coming to our website!
